For years, Chucks have become the world's most democratic shoes and the all purpose shoe for any occasion; although for some, wearing Chucks could make you look like a retro rebel, punk, or emo. The canvas top and rubber sole combination of Converse has actually had more feats on basketball courts all over the world than Nike Air Jordans and Reebok Pumps combined.
I bought my first pair of black chucks, which is the classic design, two years ago and I am proud to say that it still looks neat and new as yet. My second pair is called Jackass, a classic Chuck Taylor altered a bit to include skulls and crutches on the sides where the Converse logo usually goes, making it the perfect shoe for kicking your friend's ass when you fight.
